Idea of the project:
"Global Generation" is an innovative, contemporary cultural project.

The very up to date topic of life-concept and inter-cultural exchange of the younger generation will be given a wide platform here.

From this platform various groups out of different cultures, ambiances, age groups and faculties go into the matter.

This specifically means that artists, scientists, pedagogues and institutions from Freiburg and sister
cities (Matsuyama (JP), Isfahan (IR)
and Madison (USA)) will collaborate interdisciplinary to give a global image to the conjuncture.

Who, what, why?

The Artoholics e.V. project team appreciates your interest in our new
project «Global Generation- life-concepts of the younger generation”.
The idea :Â 4 countries, 4 characters, one culture sharing apartment.
The preparations for the opening of the exhibition on the 6th of June
2008 are in full gear, first working groups in the sister-cities
(Isfahan-Iran, Madison-USA, Matsuyama-Japan) have taken up work on the
subprojects, and furthermore the location and sponsoring research, here
in Freiburg, also is showing first results. Spirit and purpose is not
only the exhibition itself but rather the academic and artistic
process, which is dealing with the different life-concepts of the
younger generation. The project requires an intense exchange between
people from near and far and especially your opinions are important for
the projects’ advancement/future trend.
